Marley James is a filmmaker and writer based in Southern California, currently pursuing an MFA in Screenwriting at CSU Fullerton. His work spans screenwriting, filmmaking, and entertainment journalism, with a focus on character-driven stories that explore identity, relationships, and the stranger sides of human behavior. Drawing from both realism and surrealism, Marley is interested in stories that feel grounded while leaving room for ambiguity and experimentation. His background in film production, editing, sound, and digital media informs a hands-on approach to storytelling, while his writing explores the ways people try to understand themselves and each other.
